Dr. Ke is direct and to-the-point. He explains things well, using facts and figures. He doesn't sugarcoat things or overexaggerate the chance of something working. If a treatment has an 18% chance of working, he will tell you. But, he is also very compassionate. He is willing to answer any and all questions honestly. He also talks to - and more importantly - listens to his patients like we are humans, which is amazing. I guess the one downside is that most of the interactions are with the nurses and staff
The nursing staff [Kutteh Ke Fertility] is very kind, compassionate, and personable. They tend to sugar coat things. For instance, my husband's motility numbers were within range but not very high, the nurse told me they were "great" but Dr. Ke told me they were "okay" in my follow-up. I feel like I was given kind of false sense of high hopes for my treatment from the nursing staff, but if the treatment had worked, I probably would have been happy they had been so encouraging.

During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Raymond Ke at Fertility Associates of Memphis (Ivy Fertility Network Clinic)?
During my first few visits with Dr. Ke, he was very straightforward and gave me the facts about the IUI procedure and probability of its success. After my second failed IUI, he once again went into the facts and probability of continued treatment, but he really took the time to listen to my frustrations and give me advice about how to handle living with infertility. I was the last patient of the day and he spent over 45 minutes with me, letting me talk about my frustrations, answering all my questions, and giving medical advice. He also gave personal advice like not feeling guilty about skipping baby showers and offered to recommend a therapist. He really listened to me and saw me as a person with a problem, not an unexplained diagnosis. Though he may have seemed blunt at first, it was clear how much he cares about his patients.
Describe the protocols Raymond Ke used in your cycles at Fertility Associates of Memphis (Ivy Fertility Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
For my first IUI, we used femara to increase my number of eggs and ovidrel to induce ovulation. We attempted a second IUI with an increase in my femara dose, but I ovulated too early. The next month, we kept the femara increase, moved the ultrasound up in the cycle, and used ovidrel. I was given estrogen after ovulation. Both IUIs resulted in negative pregnancy tests.

Describe your experience with Fertility Associates of Memphis (Ivy Fertility Network Clinic).
They are very fast, efficient, and the costs are given to you up front. The one complaint is that I see the nursing staff more than the actual doctor. Perhaps that is different for people going through more complicated procedures, like IVF.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Raymond Ke at Fertility Associates of Memphis (Ivy Fertility Network Clinic).
The IUI itself was about $600. The ovidrel shot was about $100. A follow-up ultrasound not covered by insurance was $100.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Fertility Associates of Memphis (Ivy Fertility Network Clinic).
After I missed ovulation for what would have been my second IUI, I had to call to remind them that we were doing my ultrasound earlier. They had misplaced the paperwork saying that I had ovulated too early the previous month, but they were apologetic and listened to me when I insisted we move the ultrasound up.
Dr. Ke is wonderful! In each of our appointments with him he is blunt but personable and respectful! He will give us information but then will also ask us how we are doing-he will be professional yet "shoot the breeze" with us to make us feel more comfortable!...Dawn is amazing-I have seen her at each appointment (besides ultrasound only appointments...)! She has been with me for each of my IUI and is ALWAYS willing to answer my questions via phone calls! (Even if we do play phone tag sometimes-I'm a teacher and can't always answer my phone during the day...)
They [the staff at Kutteh Ke Fertility] are so welcoming! Willing to work and communicate well! One incident comes to mind-my husband and I live over an hour away from the clinic (yes, they are good enough that we drive over and hour each way for each visit!) and we were traveling in one morning for my 4th ( I think it was 4th...) IUI. We had to be there around 9:30--well, unfortunately due to Memphis traffic we were running late--stuck in non moving traffic for a bit of time! Well, I was hormonal and freaking out-already worried that this IUI wouldn't work again and I was bawling my eyes out. They say that if you are late for your appointment that you might miss it all together...needless to say I was a mess! So we got to a point where I knew I had to call...Talked with the front desk ladies who were SOOOO understanding and nice to a bawling lady on the phone. They told us to be safe and get there when we could and not to worry about the time! Every person I have worked with in this clinic is AMAZING!

We've done almost 2 years of treatments and are beginning the IVF journey...My insurance paid a little bit more than we originally thought-but so far the costs have not been outrageous (but I don't deal with the money, my husband does...)
Dr.Ke was so knowledgeable. I finally felt like someone knew what was going on and how to tackle my infertility. The amount of ease and comfort I felt was unbelievable. He only consulted with me but he was well invested in hearing me. He was upfront and honest that we would r have a clear plan until all my test results were back. Also, he didn’t have me waiting on end for me to see him for my appointment.
Strengths- Amazing staff [Kutteh Ke Fertility Associates], they treat you like a person and not just another patient. Every member of staff that I encountered was friendly with an empathetic approach. Weakness- They are booked! But it’s expected. I waited almost 2 months to for my consultation appointment.... he explained that it could cost $16,000 for an IVF cycle without insurance and that it gets costly.

Then he explainrd what it was, what I should expect and how to deal with it. Every appointment is important to him. Every patient is important to him. He helped me get my life back when i felt like the whole world was caving in on me.
[A nurse at Kutteh Ke Fertility Associates is] Always there to answer the questions I have. She has been helping me prepare mentally ad well as emotionally for ivf. I couldn't ask for a better nurse.... So far he had put me on metformin tp hekp control tbe pcos and it has worked amazingly. I went from 204 pounds to 160 and I feel so much better. Of course with pcos it's a day to day deal bit it helped. We tried Clomid for several months and that is when he told me that since my tube was blocked as well there was only one option. And that was IVF.

My husband and I went to Dr. Ke seeking answers after suffering our third miscarriage. He thoroughly examined our history and presented the treatment plan he thought best for us...Dr. Ke immediately found two issues that both cause recurrent miscarriage...I had surgery to remove a septum in my uterus. Dr. Ke also found that I have lupus anticoagulant...He always made sure we understood any info he presented to us and why he recommended certain procedures.

Dr. Ke has a million things going on at any given point of his day yet when he’s with you you feel as though you’re his only priority.... After over 5 years of suffering from infertility and given no answers as to why, Dr. Ke took his time with us and now we have a beautiful son to show for it. He’s definitely a blessing to many and I have recommended him to everyone that I know that’s having issues

Donor eggs single cycle was around $20,000 and medicine around $1500-$2000.
Dr. Ke is a very experienced, good doctor. He is rather conservative in treatments, and I often felt like I had to push him to try new treatments or options. The clinic sees a lot of patients, and I did not always feel like he knew what was fully going on with my case. It is important to be your own advocate.... I have had 2 FETs (1 failed and one chemical pregnancy) as well as 2 canceled, medicated FETs and one canceled natural FET. For the FET that resulted in a chemical pregnancy, the estrogen type was changed as well as the progesterone injection time frame.
The clinic [Fertility Assoc of Memphis] is a very good clinic that often works well with you on making convenient appts. The lab within the office is fantastic and allows for very quick results on certain tests. The clinic is located above the outpatient surgery center where procedures are performed, so it is very convenient.... He prefers to do single embryo transfer for your first transfer, but he will often allow for multiple following the first.
